EMERSON AND RENWICK LTD – APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME 2020

Do you want a Career in Engineering?

Emerson and Renwick are always looking to the future with new and innovative products, the latest design software as well as state of the art machining centres.

We invest heavily in our people and have once again committed to our annual apprenticeship programme which first started back in 1969.  We are delighted to announce that we are now recruiting for our 2020 intake.

Although we are a relatively small organisation we have all the departments to be able to offer you a broader base then you may expect.  Many of our apprentices have progressed through the organisation into roles such as sales, design and management.

Our apprenticeship programme is a four-year programme and starts with 12 month “off the job training” at one of our training providers.  Our main provider is Themis at Burnley College who have state of the art engineering facilities.   This is then followed by three years at the company with day release to college which will help you gain the skills and experience necessary for your roles.

The apprenticeships that we are offering this year at Emerson and Renwick are:

  • CNC Machinist
  • Electrical Fitter
  • Mechanical Fitter

Our main place of work is in Church, Accrington near to Exit 7 of the M65 and we currently employing 170 people.
