Emerson and Renwick are a family run business based in Church, Accrington and we were extremely proud to celebrate our centenary year last year.
We are always looking to the future with new and innovative products, the latest design software as well as state of the art machining centres.
We invest heavily in our people and first started our apprenticeship programme back in 1969, our first apprentice is sadly retiring this year.
We recognise that there is a skills shortage in the UK within the Engineering sector and are therefore excited to announce that we are now recruiting for our 2019 intake, this will include roles such as Electrical and Mechanical Fitters and CNC Machinists.
Although we are a relatively small organisation we have all the departments to be able to offer you a broader base then you may expect. Many of our apprentices have progressed through the organisation into Sales, Design and Management roles.
Our apprenticeship programme is a four year programme and starts with 12 month “off the job training” at one of our training providers, this is then followed by three years at the company with day release to college. This will help you to be able to gain the skills and experience necessary for your roles.
You will be paid a good salary as well as receive company benefits.
Our main training bodies are Themis at Burnley College and Training 2000 who we work closely with. They have state of the art facilities and Burnley college have just been named top training provider at NW aerospace alliance awards for the second year running.
If you are interested in an apprenticeship with an organisation where employees are at the heart of the organisation, then please download the application pack and send it back to firstname.lastname@example.org with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
Interviews will start in spring 2019.
